CAE analysis can output important design data, such as pressure distribution, temperature, shear rate, shear stress, velocity, etc., and designers can obtain information such as filling pattern, location of fusion lines and cavitation, injection pressure and mold locking force, fiber orientation, cooling temperature, and final molding conditions by CAE analysis. As a design tool, CAE can assist mold designers to optimize the runner system and mold structure, assist product designers to improve the shape of products from the perspective of process, select the plastic with the best molding performance, help mold makers choose the right injection machine, and guide molding engineers to set reasonable process conditions.
